Privacy Policy for PetTrek: Cozy Pet Adventure

Effective Date: October 19, 2026  | Last Updated: November 2, 2026  | Developer: MonolithPixel

1. Introduction and Data Controller

This Privacy Policy explains what MonolithPixel ("we", "us", or "our") does with information when you download and play our mobile game PetTrek: Cozy Pet Adventure (the "Game").

The short version: the Game keeps your progress on your own device and sends nothing to us. There are no adverts, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. The only way we ever receive information about you is if you choose to email us.

For the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), the Data Controller is:

2. What the Game Handles, and What It Never Does

What the Game never does

  • No adverts of any kind, and no advertising SDKs.
  • No accounts or sign-up. We never ask for your name, email address or age.
  • No analytics, tracking, profiling or crash-reporting SDKs.
  • No access to your Advertising ID, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
  • No chat and no way to contact other players.
  • We never sell, rent or share personal data, because the Game doesn't collect any.

A. Game progress, kept on your device

Your pets (including any names you give them), care stats, coins, outfits, rooms, travel stamps and settings are saved locally on your device in the Game's own save file. They are never sent to MonolithPixel servers; we don't have any.

B. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the Game schedules reminders on your device itself (for example, when a pet returns from a trip). No notification server is involved. You can turn them off in the Game's Settings or in your device settings.

C. The optional thank-you tip

Everything in the Game is earned by playing. The only thing that costs money is an optional tip to support the developer, which doesn't change the Game. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play: we never see your card number, bank details or billing address. Google tells us an order was placed so it can be delivered and, if needed, refunded.

D. Backups and moving to a new phone

  • Android backup: if backup is turned on for your device, Android may keep a copy of the Game's save in your Google account so it can be restored when you reinstall or change phone. Google stores that copy; we can't access it.
  • Transfer codes: Settings → Move to a new phone gives you a code that contains your save. It's only shared if you share it yourself.
  • Google Play Games cloud save: where the Game offers cloud save and you're signed in to Google Play Games, a copy of your save is kept in your own Google Play Games account so it can follow you to another device. Google stores it; we don't receive it.

E. Feedback you choose to send

Settings → Send Feedback opens your own email app with a message to pettrek.feedback@monolithpixel.com, pre-filled with details that help us fix bugs: the Game's version, your device model and language setting, and simple game facts such as your active pet's stats and how many coins and pets you have. Nothing is sent until you press send, and you can edit or delete any of it first. Copy Diagnostics puts the same details on your clipboard and sends nothing.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to read and reply to your message and to improve the Game.

3. Google Services

The Game uses only these Google services, and only when you use the feature that needs them:

  • Google Play Billing, for the optional tip.
  • Android Auto Backup, if backup is turned on for your device.
  • Google Play Games Services (Saved Games), where cloud save is offered and you sign in.

Google processes that information under the Google Privacy Policy. We don't use any other third-party services in the Game.

5. Data Retention & How to Delete Your Data

Retention: your game progress stays on your device, under your control, for as long as the Game is installed. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to deal with them, and deleted sooner if you ask.

Option 1: Reset or uninstall the Game

  • Open the Game, go to Settings, tap "Reset progress" and confirm. This deletes your save and starts the Game fresh.
  • Or uninstall the Game, or clear its storage in your device settings.
  • To remove copies kept by Google, delete PetTrek's data in Google Play Games (for a cloud save) or your Google account's backup settings (for an Android backup).

Option 2: Ask us to delete your emails

If you've emailed us, by feedback or support, you can ask us to delete that correspondence without opening the Game:

Prefer to email manually? Send an email to hello@monolithpixel.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request - PetTrek. Requests are processed within 14 days.

What Is Deleted vs. Retained?

  • Deleted on your device: Settings → Reset progress or uninstalling permanently erases your pets, inventory, rooms and progress.
  • Deleted by MonolithPixel: any emails, feedback or bug reports you've sent us, on request.
  • Retained by Google Play for tax compliance: receipts for a tip you bought are kept by Google Play (the merchant of record) under its own legal retention obligations.

6. Data Security and International Transfers

Your game progress stays on your device. Google Play Billing and Google Play Games communicate over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Where Google processes data outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area (EEA), it does so under its own transfer safeguards, as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Your Data Protection Rights & Children's Privacy

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data. Email hello@monolithpixel.com to use them. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk) or your local EU supervisory authority.

Children's Privacy: PetTrek is a family-friendly game. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, children included: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no way to chat. The only route by which we could learn anything about a player is an email, so we ask children to get a parent or guardian's help before contacting us. If we learn that a child has sent us personal information, we'll delete it.

8. Changes & Contact Information

If the Game changes what it does with information, we'll update this page and its "Last Updated" date before the change reaches players. For questions about this Privacy Policy, contact:
